I did not lack confidence in your ability to make yourgelf
hoard any moro than I thought it only fair to you to prosent
Chantanqua assignment in its corroct proporti ns. I find

record of your ansvor in this office.
I rogret that owing to the misunderstand-
ing which domo unfortunatoly to havo rosulted, tro have boon
forced to accure our quota of Chautaugua Spoakers, of whom we have

As we also havo recoivod no photograph of you, althouch I

nurso of your exporienco upon tho Chautanqua Platform, vhon ve are
able to scouro obhor nuroos who havo the necessary qualifications.
