My dear Mrs. Dougherty:

Your letter of one 5th addressed to Miss Boardman has
recently been referred to me for reply.
We cannot find a Mary A. Clarke who is enrolled in our
Nursing Service. It is just possible that the middle initial is in-
correct, for I do not see how she could hold such a pin as has been
described by Mr. Clarke unless she were a Red Cross nurse. If he will
.
give you further information and verify the name, it is possible we
may be able to locate Miss Clarke in our files.
