My dear Miss Hilliard:
Your letter of October 20th reached me a few
days ago, and I have ,delayed a reply until I could get some informa-
tion for you.
So far, I have not been able to get a line upon
the publisher, as the name does not appear in the telephone book.
As a suggestion, why not write and find out who the Advisory Editorial
Board may be? It is not given, as you will see, on the lettorheading
us
and I think before any of would want to commit ourselves to a sub-
scription that 'we would at least like to know who was backing a book
of this nature. I have an idea that it was something that was started
by Clara Sears Taylor.
I should bo very groatly interested, inasmuch
as
this correspondence has started with you, to see the names of the
Advisory Editorial Committee, and then we migh) better be able to
judge of the value of the publication, Personally, I have not been
solicited, otherwise I should have made the invostigation for myself.
