My doar Mrs. Sargent:
We have on file here the applications of Mims Grace
Blackewell and Miss Alice Conover which we have held for some-
timo. Wo wrote to you on Jamogay 19, 1915, asking whether Miss
Blackeroll were a mombor of an affiliated organization and if ao,
inform us. Miss egpers did not show hor to be a
membor of auch an organidition To have had no responso to this
letter and if you have had^no correspondence with Miss Blackwell
recently may I ask you to sond us her No. 2 card for filing with
hor papors. Hor name will thon be dyonped.
with regard to Miss Conover, she is past the age for
active service and was at the time of application being considored
for Committer work but we have had no definite statement from the
Committee that she was to be appointed and if you have had no re-
cent corrospondence with her we shall drop hor name. will you
ploase send in her No. 2 card.
