Miss Edna Mabel Cree,
Maria
156 East Ontario Street,
Chicago, Illinois
My dear Miss Cree:
Enclosed you will find a list of questions submitted to us by
various members of our nursing staff which we have answered to the
best of our ability.
Plans are progressing satisfactorily and we are anxious at this
time to make sure that everyone is ready. We hope now that when we have a
have a definite date of sailing we will be able to give you 10 pays{
notice, but you should make your plans concerning vacation, etc., so
that we may be able to get in touch with you easily and quickly at any
time.
If you wish to take money with you for personal expenses in
addition tó the check submitted by the American Red Cross it seems
there is no restriction on the amount taken into Britain but not
nore than 10 Pounds can be brought out.
You will be supplied with two dark blue wash skirts and four
cotton shirt blouses to be worn on duty in the field during the
summer time when it will be too warm to wear your reguler street
uniform.
Sincerely yours,
Gertrude Madley,
Chief Nurse,
American Red Cross-
Harvard Hospital Unit.
