Miss Anna M. Barr,
Secretary, State & Local Committee,
Red Cross Nursing Service,
1001 Canal Bank Bldg+,
New Orleans, La.
My dear Miss Barr:
We have just noticed with sincere regret the
announcement of the death of Miss L. Agnes Daspit, #1547,
in the February issue of the American Journal of Nursing
and have communicated with her brother, expreasing our
sympathy and at the same time suggesting the return of
Miss Daspit's appointment card and badge if these creden-
tials are in his possession+ You no doubt would have
sent us advice of Miss Daspit's death, together with her
#2 card, in the very near future but inasmuch as we had the
information and had communicated with Mr. Daspit, it seemed
best to advise you of these facts promptly. Perhaps the
nurse's credentials have been turned over to you, in which
case we will be glad to keceive them at your convenience.
Very truly yours,
Clara D. Noyes,
National Director,
Nursing Service.
