My dear Miss Davis:--
Will you let me know just what steps you have taken
in regard to your papers for Italy. I am trying to keep track
of all the Italian unit for Miss Gardner. I presume you have filled
out your application for service and have given it to your Division
Director. No doubt she has it and is now securing your loyalty
letters. However I should like to be sure of this so will you
let me know just how the matter stands with you at present.
