FORM OS.2 ATLANTIC DIVISION AMERICAN NATIONAL RED CROSS I.L.C. INTER-OFFICE LETTER APR 2 81919 Date April 26, 1919. To to Munros, Weshington, D.C. From Mr. Staub. Subject In reply to your letter of April 21st, I am now able to announce our plans for the memorial meeting in memory of Miss Dalano. We could not hall Garnegie for the evening Hall for of the Mey meeting 7th, on secure May 8th. a able suitable Inasmuch to but we were se- cure as the 77th Division parade, is announced for May 7th, I think it would have been impossible to have held the meeting on that date. I trust that this will meet with your approval. I have appointed a committee consisting of - W Mrs. August Belmont Miss Anna Maxwell Miss Amy Hillard Miss Adelaid M. Nutting Miss Isobel Evans Miss Mary B. Cooms Mrs. Thomas French of Brooklyn and a number of the superintendents of the larger nurses training schools. We are to have a meeting on Monday morning in my office to complete the arrangements. I am unable to give you the names of the peakers as yet, but will do so as soon as possible after Monday's meeting. You may be sure that we are going to have an ap- propriate meeting and we are going to do overything we can to meke it a success. Wé anticipate having about 8, thousand nurses in uniform at the meeting. I hope that we will receive from you at an early date, the suggested outline for the memorial speeches. I shall keep you informed as the plans develop. S.ER
