Dear Miss Hay, I have just received your letter of appreciation of July 31st, concerning the visit of Miss Bethel to the cemetery at Savenay in connection with the exhumation of the remains of Miss Jane A. Delano. It is very gratifying to know that the personnel of this Service are doing their utmost in connection with this sorrowful task and our one aim is to accomplish it in the most fitting and reverential manner possible. Thanking you again for your very courteous letter of appre- ciation, I am, Very truly yours, H.F. Rethers, Colonel, Q.M.C. Chief.
