My dear Miss Noyes:
Following up our conversation of a few days
ago with regard to the return of Miss Delano's body to this
country, I am writing now to state that General Ireland told
me that he would be glad to ask Colonel Pierce of the Graves
Registration Bureau if he would be so kind as to request the
I
representative of his department to inform the office of the
Red Cross in Paris when it was contemplated transferring the
body of Miss Delano, and to invite the Red Cross to send a
representative to Savenay at that time if they so desired.
