Graves Registration 30th April 1920. Miss Anna W.Kerr, Minnequa Hill, Canton, Pa. U.S.A.4 My dear Miss Kerr, I am glad to receive your letter under date of April 13th and also to have from Miss Noyes the day following, copy of the letter which General Ireland recently wrote you relative to the possibility of some of us being at Savanay when the remains of Miss Delano are disinterred. I promptly wrote the branch of the Army here in Paris which directs this work asking that this office might be kept accurately informed of all plans in connection. You may be sure we shall do our utmost to carry out your wishes in all respects. It will certainly be e great satisfaction not only to you but to the thousands of Mies Delano's friends in America. You will already have had the letter from Miss Bethel, one of the two nurses who went down to Savanay on Easter Sunday. I am so glad that was possible. Thank you for all the advice and direction you have given me. I only hope I will myself be able to go when the time arrivos but as I shall be much in the field in the future, that may not be possible. There will always be someone here howover to carry out the plan. I surmised from word received in various letters from America that you were no longer with A.R.C., Indeed I should love to visit you at Canton but I wonder if the leisure and the opportunity will ever come to me. I am esger to go home and see my family and my friends but the work here is interesting and I feel I should stay for a while es long as I ean be useful. with my love and good wishes, Very sincerely, Helen Scott Hay, Chief Nurse, A. R.C. Commission to Eirope. u
