My dear Miss Denny:
Your letter of inquiry received and may I ask you to tell me when
and under what committee you were enrolled, as we seem to have no record
of your enrollment in this office. It has been difficult to secure
the names and addresses of many o% the nurses who were enrolled previous
to the formation of the present committees, and I am always glad to get
in communication with nurses enrolled prior to this time. Por the sake
of our records and to place you with the proper local committee, may I
ask you to fill out the inclosed blank and return the same to me at an
early date,with the information requested concerning place of enrollment.
We have no Red Cross committees in Alabama, but I am glad to know
that we have at least one Reil Cross nurse in the state.
We have already assigned a number of nurses to the flooded district,
but none as yet in Alabama.
I take pleasure in sending you with this a recent copy of the Red
Cross Bulletin.
