My dear Miss d'Olier:
It W8.8 very nice to hear from you
end to know what you were doing. I also read the marked
article in the paper, which you were good enough to send
to me.
I, too, am eorry that you are out of
nursing, so to speak. There are so many opportunities for
which your training and experience has prepared you, that
I feel sorry to see you diverted to some other type of work,
even though it is important and presents certain aspects of
similarity.
We shall always be glad to welcome you
back to the American Red Cross. Your service with us has been
of such a character that we would be only too glad to get
hold of you once more.

ment, and also to assure you of our interest in you. with
