Before\nI left Washington Mr. Forster told me that I was to go to the Virgin Islands ans\nalso to Santo Domingo before returningto the States. I have heard nothing futher about\nit. If you wish me to make these trips or eother one of them will you please let me\nknow at once as I do not have to claim my passage until November 1st. and could go home dir\ndirectly from Santo Démingo via the Clyde Line.\"\nsee letter filed 512.
