My dear Miss Noyes:-
File
The cable sent to Mr. Forster asking that
I be assigned to work in Greece was directed to him
by mistake by the assistant Secretary in the office.
I asked her to send it to you and did not know\she
has made the mistake until I received the bill for
it. Naturally I feel very sad at the reports from
there and would be so glad to go. One could not
work here without often being very discouraged, and
I do not know how long I can hold out, but if you
think best to leave me here at present of course
I shall stay.
