Miss Douglas
2.
It has been cold and cloudy here, such
&
cool summer has never been known in Washington. We have
been sleeping under blankete every night, and an open fire out
at Lucy Minnigerode'e - where I have been stopping for the
paet month - was necessary until within the last week or two.
I am now in town, however, making my preparations for sailing.
ag you will not be able to write to me
before I leave this country, my addrese after July 15th will
be - 1 Place du Lac, Geneva, Switzerlend.
Please give my kind regards to Miss Gurnee
and tell her that I also hope she will be there when I arrive
as I should enjoy renewing my acquaintance with her.
With beet wiehes, I am
Very sincerely yours
National Director, Nursing Service
N.H
