Harriette Douglas Extract from letter from Miss Florence M. Johnson to Miss Noyes, Nov. 19, 1923. " Miss Douglas came in this morning looking so well and so attractive. She is going abroad in January as cheperone for three young women and I think it will do her a lot of good. She was hoping to find Miss Nuno as she had a position to offer her which she thought she could just fill. I am sorry she was not here for I think she would have enjoyed it but Miss Douglas hopes perhaps to see her in Athens. It seems as though everyone I knew was headed toward Europe sometime during the winter." see letter filed 146. N.Y.Office.
