Upon receipt of your memo of June 12, we requested the director
of Nursing Services in the Santa Monica Chapter to check the
available records and send us the information you asked for in
your memo, if possible.
Mrs. Sturm replies under date of June 28 as follows: "In reply
to your letter concerning the memo dated June 12th from Miss Adkerson
in regard to the death of Harriette Sheldon Douglas, we find we have
no record after 1945 when Miss Douglas resided in Santa Monica.
"The Santa Monica Hospital, the C.S.N.A. directory, nor former nurses
active at this time have anything to report on her activities. There
was no news release. Sorry we are of no help."
