Doyle\nFebruary 6, 1942\nApt. to 1211 North 7th Street\nSt. Loute, Nissouri\nity desr Mina Doyle:\nWe are please to inform you that your application for enrollment .\nin the Red Cross Nursing Service has been approved and to welcome you as a\nmember of this service world wide in its significance and opportunity.\nEnclosed herewith are instructions and your appointment card and\nBadge No. 318 which are your credentials as a Red Cross nurse. Please\nacknowledge receipt of these credentials by RETURN MAIL on the enclosed postal\ncard giving your badge number for verification.\nRead the enclosures carefully and observe all instructions.\nWe are confident that you appreciate the great privilege of serving\nas an American Red Cross nurse and the obligation of always maintaining high\nstandards of nursing.\nBecause of the EMERGENCY NATURE of the work of the Red Cross Nursing\nService, it is IMPERATIVE that you INFORM US AT ONCE of any condition which\nmay affect your status such as CHANGE OF ADDRESS, MARITAL STATUS, or PHYSICAL\nCONDITION, and that you ANSWER IMMEDIATELY ALL COMMUNICATIONS from HEADQUARTERS,\nyour LOCAL COMMITTEE or the ARMY or NAVY.\nEach year you will receive a questionnaire from the Red Cross Nursing\nService.
