My dear Miss Du Brau:
Your letter has recently been received and
may I thank you for your offer of service. We do not, however,
contemplate sending any large number of nurses abroad, but I shill
be pleased to keep your name on file should there be a possibility
of service. We are sending three nurses to Austria the first part
of the month but these nurses have been awaiting an appointment for
sometime.
Information in regard to the Army and Navy Nurse
Gorps may be obtained by writing to Miss Dora Thompson, Suporintendent
of the Amry Nurse Sorps, War Department, Washington, D.C., and Mis.
Lena Higbee, Superintendent of Navy Nurse Corps, Medical and Surgical
Department, Washington, D.C.
