Dear Madam: This is to confirm the arrangements which we understand have been made with you by the Bureau of Nursing Service. Your salary is to be $60.00 per month, dating from February 18th, 1918. Veare to allow you for your traveling expenses to New York. The Red Cross has arranged to pay your transportation expenses from New York to Palestine. An allowance of $3.00 per day will be givon to you while in New York, this allowance, however, will only be extended to you for 'three days prior to the proposed date of sailing. We understond the question of allowance for your enuipment and uniform has been covered by your corrospondence with the Nurses's Bureau. In the event that you wish to make an assignment of part of your salary to anyone in the United States, we would request that you indicate such assignment on the attached forms and return at your earliest convenience. Te call your attention to the fact that this ie the only form that oan be accepted by the Treasury Tepartment here for making diabursements of salary in the United States. If you will report to our New York office, regarding the expenses which you have incurred in thie country. as per the above outline, you will be reimburged for the full amount.
