The physicians in Boston, by whom rinal physical
examinations of all nurses assigned to the American Red
Cross-Harvard Hospital Unit are being made, are Dr. Andrew
V. Contratto, 99 Bay State Road; Dr. Joseph Frothingham,
Faulkner Hospital, Jamaica Plain; Dr. Eugene c. Eppinger,
101 Bay State Road; Dr. Alfred 0. Ludwig, 66 Commonwealth
Avenue; and Dr. Eugene A. Stead, PeterBent Brighem Hospital.
You should get in touch with one of these doctors for an
appointment as soon as possible.
We are enclosing a copy of your physical exemination
report. This you should take with you when you report for
the final examination, and also the film of your chest X-Ray.
The cost of this physical examination is covered by the
Red Cross.
We have decided now to wear white shoes and whâte
stockings on duty, and tan stockings with black shoes
for street wear. it would seem that two pairs of white
shoes and two pairs of black will be requireda
