Deaths Elsewhere Army Nurse Fitzgerald NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (AP) Alice Fitzgerald, 89, an inter- nationally recognized author- ity on nursing, died Sunday. Born in Florence, Italy, to American parents, Miss Fitz- gerald was educated in France, Switzerland and Germany and was graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in Baltimore, after which she joined the faculty of Dana Hall at Wellesley, Mass.
