Miss Agnes Jane Flanagan,

We have reviewed the case of Miss Agnes J. Flanagan,
No. 16,137, with Mr. Wilson of our Bureau of Insurance and while he can
give little promise that anything can be done for Miss Flanagan, still
he thinke that it might be ise to secure additional information. I
am enclosing, for your information, copy of my letter to Miss Emma
Grittinger, Director Public Health Nursing, N. W. Division, under date
of January 21, 1920. You will note in this communication, that I have
asked for a careful record regarding Miss Flanagan from the Cime of
her release from service. Mr. wilson also suggests that you ascertain
if possible, the nature of any disability which Viss Flanagan may have
had while abroad, and the general condition of her health while there.
To would also need a statement from a. physician, covering her present
physical condition.
This seems a most unfortunate case, but we will be
glad to present the information to Mr. Wilson for his consideration.
