ONAL OFFICERS EXECUTIVE OFFICERS WOODROW WILSON. PRESIDENT WILLIAM HOWARD TAFT. VICE PRESIDENT + DR. LIVINGSTON FARRAND, CHAIRMAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE ROBERT W. DE FOREST. VICE PRESIDENT WILLOUGHBY G. WALLING, VICE CHAIRMAN JOHN SKELTON WILLIAMS. TREASURER CENTRAL COMMITTEE ALEXANDER KING, COUNSELOR STOCKTON AXSON. SECRETARY FREDERICK C. MUNROE, GENERAL MANAGER THE AMERICAN RED CROSS NORTHWESTERN DIVISION SEATTLE, WASHINGTON EARL KILPATRICK, MGR. February 14, 1920 A. R. C. MAIL ROOM RECEIVED FEB 20 1920 Miss Clara D. Noyes, Director REFERRED Department of Nursing National Headquarters A. R. C. Washing ton, D. C. My dear Miss Noyes: Since Miss Grittinger has now gone East, I am replying to your letter of February 6, re Miss Agnes Flanagan. Miss Flanagan is in such a condition mentally that she is indifferent to her own interests. We can not secure from her the necessary records on Red Cross automatic insurance which may have been issued, and al_ though doing our level best through her sister, we seem to be blocked completely. At the present time the effort is being made by the Seattle Chapter to get Miss Flanagan to a rest resort in the hope that adequacy of treatment now may permit Miss Flanagan to later on undertake light work. Cordially yours, J.P.toisie F. P. Foisie Division Director Civilian Relief
