You will recall our correspondence regarding
the enrollment of Mrs. Elizabeth J. Longwill Forbes. Your
5.4
letter of March 6 is before us, as well as the copy of
your letter of that date to Mrs. Forbes, definitely advising
her that if we failed to hear from her shortly, her enroll-
ment would be annulled. Nearly two months have passed since
this correspondence and inasmuch as we have heard absolutely
nothing from Mrs. Forbes, we are forced to assume that she
is neither interested in retaining her general enrollment or
in being considered for our Home Defense enrollment and we
are recording the annullment of her general enrollment.
We will appreciate it if you will get Mrs. Forbes'
#2 card from the Alameda County, California Local Committee
and forward it to us, together with her 5 E 8 status card, so
we may close the records in this case.
