In December Miss Mary I. Hall, secretary of the Alameda
County Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service, wrote me that
Miss Elizabeth Jeanette Longwill, who had applied for enrollment,
had married and that Miss Jamieson, Superintendent of Fabiola Hospital,
Oakland, was holding her badge and appointment card. Miss Jamieson
wrote me later that she had returned these credentials to you.
Since I have not heard from you in regard to this nurse,
I wonder if the credentials reached you. I should like to offer
this nurse, who is now Mrs. Thorpe, Home Defense enrollment. I shall
appreciate it if you will return her application to this office if
you have annulled her general enrollment.
