My dear Miss Foto:
It is important for you to know that although you have
been granted enrollment In the American Red Cross Nursing Service
and your name has been sent to the Army Nurse Corps, your accept-
ance by the Army may be questioned on the basis of your being
underweight.
It is, therefore, recommended that you make serious
effort to bring your weight to 123 pounds in order that you more
nearly approach the standard as set forth in the Army and Navy
Medical Manuals.
We trust that your interest will encourage you to make
this effort.
