AMERICAN NATIONAL RED CROSS INTER-OFFICE LETTER TO Miss Malinde Havey DATE May 11m 1922. FROM Miss Ina M. Gaskill SUBJECT LAKE DIVISION Since the new Public ealth Nurse is out I find that Miss Mary Meyers whomy will remember as the nurse that I live with, and who is Secretaryof the Tuberculosis Association here, is on the .O.P.H.N. ticket as director. Miss Meyers is a graduate of the same training school which I gradusted from and had practically the same work. She has had no other hospital experience with the expeption of one month. Two years ago at the Atlanta Convention Miss Meyers was chosen chairman of the T. B. section of NOP.H.1 After she came homeshe happened to think she was not even a member of N.O.P.H.N. That same summer she sent in her application for membership. Up to this time she has not been notified that she has been admitted to membership, but received the Public Health Nurse. She is a personal friendof Miss Mary Marshall of the National T. B. Association. I am sure it was through Miss "arshall that her name is on the ticket as director. I thought perhaps I should tell you about this, especially as you are going to look up the matter of my membership in N. D. P. . N. Perhaps you might like to talk it over with Miss Fox. Anything you can do will be appreciated. P. S. I suppose you and Miss Teal and spending a great deal of time with the Hardings. At any rate I hope you will try to rest yourself up a bit.
