My dear Miss Goostrays
Your letter of December 30th recoived, and in
reply may I state that the American Red Cross has a limited number of
scholarships at its disposal for mases who desire to equip thom-
selves as instructors in training schools for nurses. 5 Up to the
present time we have not granted any scholarships for this.course
to nurses who were not enrolled in the American Red Cross Nursing
Service.
I am enclosing an application blank and loaflet concern-
ing the loans and scholarships, and would advice that you talk with
Miss Mutting who may be willing to recommond you for a scholarship.
