Having been duly appointed by the American Red Cross to serve with the emer-
gency civilian hospitals in the Hawaiian Islands, under the auspices of the Emer-
Cil
gency Medical and Hospital Service of the Territorial Office of Civilian Defense in
the Territory of Hawaii, I masian Hilson, acknowledge the receipt of
there hundred dollars from the American Red Cross which I understand
to be a personal advance to cover my travel and maintenance expenses from my present
place of employment to Hawaii. It is further understood that the Territorial Office
