Copy of letter from Mrs. Elsbeth Vaughan, Midwestern
Branch Office - Dated December 26, 1930.
"The letter which Miss Rose Hales wrote to you on December 12
tendering her resignation as a member of the St. Joseph Local Committee
has been received.
Miss Rose Hales, as you no doubt know, is the sister
of x the former Secretary, Miss Lorena Hales whose resignation we suggested.
Under the circumstances we think it better to accept her re-
signation and would like to ask you to remove her name from your list of
the St. Joseph Committee members."
