My dear Miss Noyes: I was enrolled as a member of the American Red Cross May 22, 1935. In reading your letter I find that I am to fill out a report form which should be sent to me once a year. In failure of my doing this I am under the impression that I will be placed in the Third Reserve which is an inactive status. As I am very anxious to be an active member I will appreciate it if you will give me some information concerning my local committee so I may fill out the form for this year and the last year's form also. I would appreciate it very much if you will tell me what method I could secure information or bulletins for teaching 'Home Hygiene and Care Of The Sick'. As I am the county health nurse for Crenshaw county, which is a rural section of Alabama, I feel that I can hold such classes throughout the small communities and the young citizens will profit by the courses offered. The material is certainly needed in this area. I will appreciate your information concerning both paragraphs.
