Mrs. A. P. Woodruff,
415 S. Stewart Avenue,
Freeport, Illinois.
My dear Mrs. Woodruffs-
Miss Ida F. Butler, Assistant to the National Director of
our Red Cross Nursing Service, has sent to our Committee your very kind
letter of June 29, 1929, relative to your sister, Miss Helen Seott Hey.
We appreciate sincerely the helpful information you have
given us, which we are happy to say puts us in a position to continue monthly
payments to her. I am enclosing for your information copy of a letter which
we are today sending her.
It is with very sincere regret that we learn of Miss Hay's
unfavorable physical condition. We are all hoping, however, that this may
be followed by some improvement. If any special emergency should arise
which would make inadequate the amount which we are sending her we are relying
upon you to frankly advise us so that we may have an opportunity to make a
further adjustment.
Thanking you for the very real help you have given us, I am
Yours sincerely,
F. J. Mulhall,
Staff Assistant.
Enclosure.
