Dear Mrs.Baker:-
To save exertion 1 am enclosing you a copy
of letter 1 have written to Mrs. Vaughan, answering her
request that I report to their office April let, owing to
the unusually difficult conditions and extra work due to
the tornado. From this letter you will see that I am ill
and uncertain at the moment when 1 can be ready for work.
Under the circumstances, of course you will all do what you
feel is best and it will be perfectly all right with me.
You will kindly tell Miss Noyes of my present state.
1 am of course grieved about it, but affairs are beyond my
control.
