Mr. James I. Coddington, Secy.,
Harmon Asso. for Advancement of Nursing,
522 Fifth Avenue,
New York City.
My dear Mr. Coddington:
Your letter of March 7th, enclosing
copies of your correspondence with Miss Hay, was received some
days ago. Thanks very much for sending this, for it answers
the very questions that I had in mind. You can rely upon me
to regard the correspondence with Miss Hay as confidential.
Miss Hay is one of our beneficiaries, consequently we are
familiar with her financial situation.
Copies of your letters to Niss Haig
and Nrs. Vaughen, relative to material which you were sending
them, have also been received and read with interest.
I think you will be interested to know
that a great many in uiries are renching us from nurses who ask
for additional material, etc. When a direct question is raised
which requires an answer, I am suggesting that they write
immediately to you. However, as long as I can continue to
supply the pamphlets and reprints we will do so. When these are
exhmusted I will refer future requests to you.
Thanking you and assuring you of my
continued interest, I am
Very sincerely yours,
N.H
National Director, Nursing Service.
