My dear Mr. Burt:
Miss Noyes hes transferred to me your courteous letter of
April 4th, referring in the main to the estate of Helen Scott Hay. We are
deeply grateful to Miss Hay for her memory of our organization in her will.
As a result of the very close connection between Miss Hay and
the Red Cross ws think it would be of great value to us to have a complete copy
of her will. If this can in the next few weeks be made available to us we shall
appreciate it very much. It need not be certified.
As the administration of the estate proceeds and information
is
available which may be of interest to us in connection with the legacy pro-
vided in our favor we shall welcome reports which you may send us thereon from
time to time.
