Miss Hay February 28, 1927. S out. It mey have had some political significance of which I have no knowl- edge, but it seeme to me that it would ill repay the hard work, not to men- 0 tion the money, thet hes been expended by the Imericen Red Croes and ite + representatives, to establish nureing in that ecuntry on a modern basie. Naturolly it would be much exsier for ue to ace this become effective, but + it would be with sincere regret on my part, es well 8B on the part of Mies Goff, to see 50 splendid. venture'go by the board. The Rockefeller people, including Miss Crovell, sere there at the time Mies Goff 188 writing, for the purpose of studying possibilities for the estsblishment of e Public Heslth Course, I assume for both physicions and purses. What conclusions have been finally reached have not filtered through to this office, and probably they never will. I have long hoped that enother school would be sturted, for the country neede several, and I have always felt that our School should have been in connection with the Alexander Hospital. I will communicate with you as soon as I hear more definitely in re- gard to the matter. In the memtime please regard this as in the light of a confidentiel communication, es I should not like to. have thie filter back in any way to the people in Bulgarie. I feel sure it le not necessary to say thie to you for you, unlike myrelf, are most cautious in mattere of this na- ture. I hope that you are better, but de not take the trouble to answer as you will probably wont to hear more about the situation in Bulgaria and I will write 88 soon & I have more information. With best vishes, I am, Very sincerely yours, National Director, CDN b Nursing Service. 2 8 20F. 2
