C + Mies Helen Scott Bay. who incurred physiesl disability in our overseas service, was a beneficiary under our Sick and Accident Con- tract with the travelers Insurance Company. All benefits allowable to her under this contract terminated May 21, 1928. She still remains totally disabled. I enclose letter dated Varch 5, 1921, from the Office Manager to the Chairnah, which bears the approving signature of "L. Farrand". the Chairmen, and which constitutes authority for the payment to Mies Hay of additional insurance at the rate of $20.00 per week for a period of fifty weeke, couneacing May 22. 1928. Heretofore pagments in cases similar to that of Miss Hay. where supplemental insurance has been authorized, have been made to the reimbursed the Company for such payments. In this case, after conference beneficiery by the Travelers Insurance Company and we have subsequently with Mr. MeClintock and MP. Hughes, we heve decided that it will be pre- ferable to make payments to wise Hey direct from Weshington. Please make payments to Mies Hay in accordance with the above cited authority of the Chairman. Miss Hay's address is - 22 Kast Fifth Street, Savanna, illinois. Under the regular insurance contract the Pravelers Insurance Company made payments every four weeke to Mies Hay. the last of which of was sent her on Vay 22, 1928.
