EPECIAL DELIVERY
Miss Virginia Gertrude Heath
267 South Ocean Avenue,
Freeport, New York
My dear Miss Heath:
We are now planning that you should be in the next group
to sail which we expect to sail about June 28. You should be
ready shortly before that date to leave on very short notice.
For obvious reasons you are specially requested not to divulge
to anyone the date or ship on which you expect to sail: You should
not show the ship's name on any tags or labels attached to your
luggage; simply specify "A Ship".
will you kindly fill in the enclosed application blanks and
return them immediately by air mail. All three sheets must be
signed. Quéstions #5, c,d,e of #/7 and #9 need not be answered.
The remaining unanswered questions on all three copies must be
filled in.
You may bring along your accordian with you if you like. I
have not heard whether or not there is a golf course near our
hospital in England.
It is urgent that you return your immunization and dental
reports as quickly as possible. Return receipts for your uniforms
immediately upon receiving your uniforms.
May we have one of your passport pictures for your record
here at National Headquarters.
