My dear Miss Barrett: M. In response to your letter of August 17, we are enclosing the No. 2 cards of the following nurses who are now on duty in London with the Harvard Unit. Badge #45907 Doane, Mildred Estelle #66652 Fulton, Lavinia Martha We found the record cards of these nurses on file in their in- dividual folders, but do not know why they were returned. It appears that early in July we sent you the usual yellow notice of assignment of these nurses to the Harvard Unit and assume that they are still in your file. Will you please attach the assignment notice to the No. 2 card of each nurse and put them in the proper place in your file. The No. 2 card of Miss Rachel Marjorie St. Pierre, badge #80343, also was found in her folder at Headquarters. We are returning it here- with with the information that Miss St. Pierre has been released from the Unit and has returned to the United States. So far as we know, Miss St. Pierre is at present at her sister's home at 30 Philbrick Road, Newton Centre, Massachusetts. We do not know how permanent this address is, how- ever, and will let you know as soon as we have further information. The yellow assignment slip of Miss Virginia Louise M.
