My dear Miss Hickox:
We have recently received your essay
at this office, and as I can find no application on file
I take it for granted that you intended to send it to the
Committee under which you made application;but as you are
living in Arizona and as we have no Committee in that State,
I am unable to tell through which Committee you are applying.
Will you kindly let me hear from you in regard to this.
