My dear Miss Hobein
to
Ibank you for letting 18 know that you are
in the country on furlough from Chine, Will you keep in touch
with us and let us know when you make your plans to return?
Judging from all we read in the papers, it doee not look to us
favorable for the return of an American to Chine at the present
time, so that we ore under the impression that you may make: a
longer stay in this country then was your first intention.
If we have occasion to get in touch with you
wo will be sure to addrése the letter to - Barrington, Illinoie.
At the present time there has been no
indication of the Red Crose being requested to mobolize nureee
for service in China.
Assuring you of our appreciation of your
in terest.
Very truly yours
