Miss Fox is back again and is immersed. She has discussed your let-
ters with me, asking that I get an answer off to you at once.
First about the wires relative to Miss Rohrback. Miss Van De Vrede
in telking with liss Fox in New York - reference my letter January 18th - did

not mention writing to you in detail, so it is Miss Fox's presumption that

Miss Van De Vrede did not understand that Miss Fox was to use her opinion as
the basis for this o. K. However, last week, while hore, when the whole

situation was explained, Miss Van De Vrede said she would not hesitate to

consider MisssRohrback for service outside the Southern Division, and while
she mainteined the reservation made to Miss Fox, she said she thought the
first might disappear as Miss Rohrback became happy in her work, and secondly,
that Miss Rohrback could be aided if you outlined to her your idem of the

duties of a supervising nurse and followed that by checking up for a while
on her supervisory contacts, showing Miss Rohrback where she was weak and
where strong.

This opinion, of course, concels all objections,though Miss Fox
felt you would wish to bear the reservations in mind.

Secondly, Miss Navey's letter regarding liss Lewis and two other
prospects has no doubt renched you by this time.
Miss McArdle was Miss Ahrens' prospect, and Niss Fox is hoping
very mach that you are successful in securing hore
Miss Fox thought your decision regarding Miss Zurawski vias the
only sensible one. porry that you didn't get wrs. Houson.
