Dear Mrs. Vaughan:
Your letter of February 21 regarding Miss Audrey Holt has just been
received.
In my opinion Miss Holt would be able to adjust satisfactorily to
the position you have in mind. Of course, I know of her work entirely
in connection with our students who have affiliated wi th the Kansas
City Visiting Nurse Association for field experience. The students
have liked her and have found hor most helpful. We have found her
most amenable to suggestions regarding changes in the program for
students and fair in her judgment of their work.
She has acted as hostess at the U.S.O. in Kansas City for at least
two years and has apparently made a real contribution in that capacity.
Miss Holt is a tireless worker and is apparently in excellent health,
although I believe that she is past forty-five years of age.
