Describe the organization of the Nursing Service of the American Red Cross and duties of the National
Committee.
2.
Who is responsible for the assignment to duty of Red Cross Nurses and for the selection of Supervising

3. How does response to a call from the Red Cross in time of peace differ from that in time of war? What
exceptions may be made for Red Cross nurses in time of war, who have been appointed as public

Cross service as a public health nurse.
