When information on any point is not available it should be so stated.\nI\nM\nD. EVERY QUESTION MUST BE ANSWERED.\nE. When subject is NOT to be interviewed the information must be secured from employers, neighbors, and other sources. Under NO\ncircumstances must subject then be approached.\na\nF. When subject IS to be interviewed, this should be the first step of the investigation and subject's answer to each of the several questions\nsecured.\n5\nG.\nSubject's statements should be verified by every one of the different Informants.(references, business associations, and neighbors) who are\ndesignated by letters, A, B, C, etc., and the statements of each are to be noted in the space allotted accordingly, following certain of\n(b\nthe questions as indicated. Verification may be indicated (V); don't know (X); contradiction necessitates explanation.\nH. Should pertinent information be secured from other sources than those designated as informants in Paragraph G, all details including\nname and address of the source of such information must be given.\nI.\nOperative will please read the following to each person giving information:\n\"Do you fully understand that these questions are being asked you to enable a representative of some branch of the Service of the United\nStates to determine the fitness of the subject to be employed by the Government or in service closely related thereto, ither in Europe\nL\nor\nin this country and it is your duty, regardless of your interest in the subject, to give true information?\"\nJ.
