BALDWIN LONGSTRETH KEYES, M. D. ARC MAIL ROOM ROBERT S. BOOKHAMMER, M. D. RECEIVED 2031 LOCUST STREET PHILADELPHIA DEC 10 1947 7 REFERRED TO musing December 1, 1947 TO: CHAIRMAN, COMMITTEE ON NURSE RECRUITMENT Your notice of November 26, 1947 that the American Red Cross files are about to be destroyed has come to my attention. My wife, Harriet Kift Keyes, R.N., has been a member of the American Red Cross since about 1915 and, since she served on active duty in Siberia for the Red Cross in 1918 or 1919, there must be in your files some data in relation to her which I feel should be kept in some safe place. If you cannot send this to me, I would like to have it sent to the Alumni Office of the Childrens' Hospital in Philadelphia at 1740 Bainbridge Street, and I would appreciate a notice that this has been done. Mrs. Keyes died in August 1947 and it is for this reason that I am replying to your notice. Appreciating your courtesy, I am Sincerely, Bremsin L. Keyes Baldwin L. Keyes, M.D. BLK/mr Alasia with wwl
