After having served for a period of one year B is entitled to\nreceive from ARC transportation to his ( or her ) home town with the\nfollowing conditions:\nA.\nTransportation from Vlndivostok to any nort of the\nU.S.A. designated by ARC by Army Transport\nto\nbe arranged by ARC, but if for any reason such Army\nTransport facilities cannot be obtained , , the ARC\nmay arrange for B's passage on any regular passenger\nsteamer.\nB.\nThe standard charge for board made by the transport,\nviz: $1.00 per day , to be paid by ARC.\nC.\nOrdinary railway fare from port of landing to town\nwill be paid by ARC , who will also make allowance\nof $4.00 per day for food and incidentals, for a\nperiod of\nfire daysbeing normal time for the\nrailway journey.\n7.\nIf B does not perform his or her) duties in a manner satisfact.\n-ory to ARC they have right to terminate this agreement forthwith,, ,\nbut in this instance they shall still liable for paymentof transport.\n-at ion but shall not be liable for clothing allowance unlessthe\nperiod of six months from date of contract to date of dischargeshall\nhave already elapsed. Such instance of desire to terminate contract\nshall be served by ARC one calander month before they desire it to go\ninto effect, reserving to themselves the alternative of immediate\ndischarge by payment of one months salary in lieu of notice.\n8.\nShould B be guilty of conduct which is decided by a court of\nhis ( or her) superior officers to be unbecoming to that of an officer\nof the ARC, the ARC shall have the power to discharge him or her)\nforthwith and in this instance they shall not be liable for clothing\nallowance unless the period of six months , already mentioned,\nhas expired.\n9. B engages on histor her) departure from ARC, except in all cases\nof honorable discharge, to return to them all ARC insignia, letters\nof indentification , together with any other letters O1 documents\nproving his/or her.) having been connected with the ARC."
