October 27, 1915.
Mrs. Arma E. Keil,
727 Eagle Avo..
New York City.
My dear Mrs. Keil:
We have recently received a esolegram from Russia, stating
that Miss Sophio Keil is remaining on for continued service probably at
Tiflis. As you probably know the Red Cross discontinued the support of
its personnel in Europe on October First and any who remain after that time
do so on their own responsibility. The salary of the muses remaining ie,
I believe,to be paid by a group of Amerienn living in Petrograd, but you
will probably hear definitely from Miss Keil in regard to their plans.
We shall make every effort to keep in touch with the nurses
who are remaining but they are TO longer under the direction or protection
of the American Red Cross.Q If, however, we have any further information I
shall be glad to notify you promptly.
Yours very truly.
